I-70 Accident

This had happened on the stretch of 70 that I take to work. 70 was obviously shut down for miles and miles, I know back roads. I took back roads along 70 and went up the eastbound side to take a look and our guy is ok, obviously shaken. It was a mess, complete mess. I used to live where this has happened and I can't tell you how many times an accident has occured there and a few yards donw 70 where people are supposed to stop at the offramp but just blow through the stop sign on a blind curve and then they get hit, and more often than not, killed as people fly around the blind curve.

Sorry to hear the bad news.

I-70 from New Stanton to I-79 always has been a dangerous road. Same thing with the Pa. Turnpike, lots of curves with limited eye lead time and narrow rock cuts with narrow berms.

May the deceased RIP and their families know they are in my prayers.
