I no longer want to be a good driver.

I think ups would be better off in the long run if they just dispatched legitimate 9 hr routes & you got paid the (40 + 5 ot) salaried wage. Guys that want to get home earlier can move a little faster. Guys that dont can move slower.
Instead they dispatch the faster guys 10 hr routes & the slower guys 8 hr routes.
Eventually faster guys figure out their tactics & start moving a lot slower. Leading to everybody going slower & ups wondering why they pay their drivers so much for the smaller output.

That is called working in a bonus center. Work harder go home sooner and make more money.

Enough is enough, my numbers at ups are outstanding since i started, but i lately realized that management is taking advantage of me , more stops every day, i cover the most difficult routes , while the other 22.4 drivers i started with are enjoying base cars. Time to slow down , i am done being a sheep. Any advices?
what took you so long to realize they were :censored2:ing you in the ass?

You come into this billion dollar company and you want to be a great employee. You have great intentions & want to make a name for yourself with your fellow employees and management team.
Then you realize the work system is socialist. Better faster carries more responsibility @ the same pay rate as slower.

Hey if you’re so upset about others having easy route do you have seniority over any of these individuals ?! If so you can always go to bump city !

Work as directed. The only drivers that are allowed to bump here are bid route drivers when their bid route is cut.

I had a RPCD bump me off a gravy Saturday route and I got stuck with nothing but his apartments. Which ended up working out because he got done early and had to go help other drivers muhahaha

Too late. You already heroed up. You set a precedence of performance. It can be done but have fun dealing with a sheetload of harassment. Follow Orion 100%. Follow the methods. They’re going to have you in the office everyday. Just stand up for yourself and eventually they will get tired and move onto someone else. Work every day for the next month as if they are out there watching you, because most likely they are. Nothing pisses them off more then a runner that changes their ways. We had a guy who was trying to get hired off the street and used to come in two hours under every day. The day he got made permanent he dropped anchor. Last driver in every night. lol.
We had a runner who changed their ways... Fired a few weeks later. I don't know the whole story but likely a 'random' or 'suspected' drug test got them. We would have a huge number of everybody including drivers walked out for positive weed tests.

You forgot to mention the far less pay for the same job. And working Saturdays. Those two are pretty big separations from RPCD

I started at $27.14 which is more than another newer RPCD who didnt qualify before becoming a RPCD. Off the street hire I guess. I qualified last year so I got to start at my temp rate
