Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 6128254" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>It's not the president's job to support unions.  If a president is pro union and has the support needed in Congress then laws helping unions get passed.  If he's anti union, pro business then unions will just have to increase their rolls themselves.  The reason you see so many states with right to work laws these days is people could see for themselves what happens when unions push companies too hard.  In areas where there are few solid jobs they will welcome non unionized companies bringing decent paying jobs.  You think that unions should be everywhere taking everything a company makes for the workers.  Doesn't work that way and is exactly why so many strong union areas have been depressed for decades.</p></blockquote><p></p>
