Let me start by saying I'm not a driver, I'm an OMS (hence the name). I'm not out there on the road, but a lot of issues and situations fall in my lap. So here's the latest. A concern came in about a delivery (no knock) and when I called the lady back, she said she thought the driver didn't knock because of a confrontation he had with her brother. Apparently, during a previous delivery, the driver noticed her brother (aged 19) was viewing porn on the internet and commented about it. This lady knew the driver's name because it CAME UP ON CALLER ID! She said the driver called her mother to snitch on her brother's inappropriate, non-Christian internet viewing habits. She went on to say that her mother didn't know what to say so just thanked him, then checked the computer herself. Needless to say, I was completely taken off guard and spent the next five minutes apologizing for the driver's behavior. So, is it a driver's job to be the morality police? At what point do you whip out your personal morality meter and proceed to inflict your views on others? Opinions? Thoughts?
