Back in 1978 I was much like yourself. We would only see the union president and the rest of the slate during contract negotiations. And after they campaigned for their re-election our part time dues would rise. I challenged him publically about the dues during one such meeting and he flipped out and shut me down. After re-election our dues went up. Fancy that? Stay involved in what is going on and ask questions of the people you pay to represent you. If they can't or won't answer your questions....vote them out. That is also what should be happening in Washington. Stay strong and do not back down.</p></blockquote><p></p>
