Sounds much more fair than the "bonus" MRA, and the Letter of Agreement certainly allows for a 're-opening' of the MRA. Especially since we're coming up on the date when GWIs would come into play.

I'm sure the company has either met with the Local, or they will be shortly.

The big problem I see is if none of the other sorts in the other hubs/centers/gateway get anything.

edit: (and WTF is Sunrise the hardest sort to staff at CACH. FYI, CACH SUNRISE runs at about or slightly later than the typical preload sort time.)

There's FT jobs across the street that start at $20+ and Insurance from day 1. UPS simply can't retain employees for $14.50 with no insurance for 9 months. Plus multiple year wait for a ft gig. Especially somewhere like Chicago.
