IVIS recording audio in-cab?

IVIS already records nearly every function of the truck including speed, GPS, braking, acceleration, and much more. They wirelessly transmit all this data real time if requested from a main terminal. Who's to say it's not recording in-cab audio without us knowing?

The Motorola VC-6096 system that we use has a built in microphone and telephone feature. You can see the microphone on the left side below the screen brightness buttons and the call function buttons on the right.

What are your thoughts?
Have you ever heard of UPS using audio as evidence in a Feeder incident? I know package DIADs have the same capability.

Light 'em up!
I highly doubt it, but anything is possible.

If they want to listen to me sing, I hope they send the audio to Sony so that I can get a multi-million dollar recording contract.

You want a toe? I can get you a toe.
I have heard there is a new telematics report "talking after signature".

Apparently the Diad has a microphone too. Talk about a lawsuit waiting to happen.

I think it calculates time between stop complete, and moving you're vehicle. I think there's a 3 minute window before that stop gets red flagged.
