I realize that in your quest to find cool graphics to slam President obama with, you will come across something like this that isnt quite what you were hoping for..... In this graph, it only goes to the end of 2008 while BUSH was still in office. I appreciate your posting of this graph, but I dont think its what you wanted to suggest. If you look at 00 , thats the start of the bush reign, then the 08 is the start of BUSH's last year going into 2009. You are correct in showing that BUSH accelerated unemployment in his last 2 years in office while shedding 750 thousand jobs a month going into 2009 until it slowed down under OBAMA and hovers around 400 thousands jobs a month. While this economy has been economically sabotaged by the republicans, its clear the american public is fed up with the current leadership in congress. This congress, who took contol only this year now has a 10% approval rating, the lowest in history. Come next year, the power could shift and republicans tossed out and control given back to the democrats. I guess abortion fights, health care reform and gutting of wall street regulations isnt what americans wanted the new party in charge to focus on. THEY WANT JOBS and the republcans havent put forward one single jobs bill, and further, they have killed any projects that would employ americans. Despite the republicans best efforts, unemployment continues to dip slightly. The republicans would rather try the Herbert Hoover approach to a failing economy by doing nothing and letting the country slip into a depression vs. the Roosevelt approach of investing in america. Peace.
