My grandfather (West Virginia Coal Miner) ]met him and heard him speak.
He said it was like the Sermon on the Mount.
Yep.Also had a grandfather who was a coal miner in Pennsylvania he retired with black lung disease, drank whiskey , chewed tobacco and did farming on the side. He made it to age 99, sharp as a whip, full head of hair. His ancestors came out of the Slavic regions, he was half Russian and had those eyebrows that you could comb.
Always had the look of somebody you do not want to mess with even in his 90’s.
