So when it talks about slaves in the third part of the national anthem (the part that Gwen Berry is referring to )It is referring to the white soldiers that were taken and put on British warships (POWS) People  should read history and textbooks before they spew off nonsense to the world .  It makes our country look very stupid !!!</p></blockquote><p></p>
