They do have lower seniority drivers working Saturdays. I doubt they’re building extra routes. They’re always asking for Saturday volunteers. Seems like they’re looking for loopholes to get people to work. It’s just that one week. Back to Mon-Fri the following week.

Either management gave off a bunch of drivers or they want everything cleaned up Saturday? Tuesday will be a clown show with a lot of routes getting cut.
To be clear, they’re changing our schedule on September 7th (Labor Day...day we’re already off) to Tues-Sat. They’re giving us “off” Monday’s holiday. Makes sense?

BA says it’s allowed because it’s 5 consecutive work days and more than a week notice. Just the principle of “scheduling us” on a paid holiday is BS. Thanks for the input!
