Less than 30 days as a new hire, already being asked if I want a sup position. Thoughts?

I was curious if anyone had any insight about the ups and downs for transitioning from a potential, union job to non?

I enjoy the work, however I don't see myself as too longterm with the company, nor do I need any college money, or wish to be a driver.

I enjoy the workout I get from unload and the workers are all pretty great.
The job security with the union seems wonderful, but I'm not sure how long I can go without my body getting wrecked, in the long run.
Anyone know pay variance, etc?

They have a hard time getting good leaders to go into pt supervision
