Letter of interest Grievance

I turned in a letter of interest back in July to be moved to the unload. Since then I have worked in the unload a handful of times. They have hired people since then and put them in the unload whenever I was supposed to fill that available position.

I've talked to my supervisor and he just blows it off.

This is covered under article 63 section 6 of the Atlantic supplement.

How would I write this grievance up?

According to that section it is a preferred position, not a bid position

This is the language you're looking for.

It's National language.... so it's an easy win, if you file a grievance.

Is this the first grievance you have filed? How long you been at UPS?

What position do they want you in?
