I heard today that the proposed cost of taking over the TEAMSTER Pension will put a freeze on a management buyout for later this year.

Could be that there might not be a management pension plan after the withdraw liability is paid out.

It is interesting that thoughout most of this year the rumor was that a buyout announcement would be made in September. Oh well, what will be ,will be.

I hope your wrong. Last rumor I heard was the first of the year. You could be right since the cost of buying out of the central states pension is a pretty steep number..

theres no buyout because half of management is going to DHL. or at least in my district they are. about 15 of them in the last yr to be exact.

401(k) savings plan with 100 percent match of first 3 percent contributed
