In Feb. the Maryland State House introduced Joint Resolution 5 which calls for the phasing out of the Federal Reserve notes and returning to the Constitutional requirements of honest money backed by gold and silver. See art.1 sec 8 (total power delegated to the Congress) and art. 1 sec. 10 (total restrictions laid upon the individual states) of US Constitution.
After reading the text of this resolution, I'd like to thank the voters of Maryland for the fruits of their labors as evidenced by the product of their elected officials. Now if 49 more states would just follow their lead!
