" MECH LIFT " I see these stickers all the time. What is this? Is there a machine of some sort in my truck? I didn't see a pallet jack in my truck during pretrip , and my hand truck barely has wheels, it couldn't be this.

MECH LIFT means that it should be moved by using a mechanical lift, preferably a forklift; however, since we don't have those on our pkg cars, you will either need to ask for help at the stop, call the center for help or "man up" and deliver it by yourself.

Yeah, you get to be in pain the whole time out of work, while receiving 33% (YMMV) of your pay. “Manning up” is what the cool kids do so later in life they get to cruise around on a Rascal motorized cart.

Position the pkg car close enough to the delivery point, rock the package back and forth until it is at the rear of the car, position your feet accordingly, lift, move, set down.

Look back to see if you can find your balls.

Beep the horn or knock on the door. If the customer doesn’t want to help or is t home, NI1. That’s would be my personal course of action, YMMV.

Yes, if you are unable to complete the delivery in a safe manner, you would sheet is as EC or NI1, put Over 70 in the remarks and move on to the next stop.

You might also want to pick up some tampons on your way home from work.

There are no apartments where he delivers. Everyone has a dock next to their living room, labeled UPS only.
