Message: <blockquote data-quote="refineryworker05" data-source="post: 4959692" data-attributes="member: 66082"><p>Very few soldiers actually kill anyone.  I have a couple of family members that joined and neither one of them joined to kill people, one joined to see the world and the other joined to have a career, and military recruitment ads for decades have emphasized personal improvment even self actualizatoin as a reason to join.  the US military hasn't if they ever recruited using the message of who you are or what you want or where you come from as an individual doesn't matter you are just a nameless faceless killing machine against America's enemies.  So that ad isn't really all that different from other ads.  It just features a group you hate, but instead of just saying that you invent oh well this means the miliary is ran like this or that.  Just make believe stuff.</p></blockquote><p></p>
