MORE TEAMSTER LEADERSHIP NEWS

Are you gloating?

Gloating about what ?

It popped up in a news feed, and the other members might like to know.

Hearing about this.... might deter another Union member from doing stupid :censored2:.

So you think that @BigUnionGuy started this thread in response to you asserting that many Union Officials have been caught embezzling and sentenced to jail time, in another thread on the Union Forum?

The story about John Coli is old news.

His whole family is entrenched in that Local, with nepotism abounding.

I mean, "go big or go home".... right ?

Cases like that, always come out of the "same" type cities.

A pkg car driver stealing stuff off his own truck ?

He wanted to get caught.

Just like the 2 recent drivers under the influence.... on the job.

People do things, for a reason.

I just see a trend of posting negative ups issues.
You blow off ibt scandals and post on ups people's screw ups.

YOU TELL US WHAT NUMBER IT IS BUG.

How about the 4 yr old story about some guy stealing electronics you posted at peak?

That's my point.

Stick up for your ibt cronies who are busted (and some banned from the union) and slam peons that commit theft.

Out of the 100,000 plus ups drivers and 140,000 plus part timers that work at ups what fraction of them stealing has as big an impact (as the Ohio Conference scandal) as the high level teamster officials that continue to make the media head lines? Great advertising for union membership.

You can blame the Republicans all you want but the high level corruption in this union is draining the blood out of solidarity and faith that ANYTHING will change at the ballot box with corruption abounding is an oxymoron.

Had a Part Time Sup in our Hub who would have info on high value packages being loaded on trailers. Mostly jewelry. So he knew what to go after. Eventually caught. They went to his house where they found the stash. Guess he hadn't given it to his girlfriend yet or sold it all. Funny thing, his roommate was in Loss Prevention and had no idea what his roommate was doing. Funny the LP guy didn't know how this PT Sup was doing so well financially living on a part time salary, especially when he was selling the stuff. The LP person never was charged with anything. As a retired steward, sit in on several cases where LP would mount a camera outside a trailer and film someone opening packages and going through them. You would think the PT Sup would be smarter than that.

Here they live by the dozens, in a single 2 bedroom townhouse, furnished with stolen lawn furniture, and a flat panel big screen TV, sitting on a cider block and plywood entertainment system.
They like cider?

A couple of recent threads, doesn't equate a "trend".

How about the 4 yr old story about some guy stealing electronics you posted at peak?

Uh....

He stole a $160,000 diamond, and traded it for a couple joint's.

I thought it was funny.

The trend I see....

Is that you dont like upsers.

Come on.

Why would I spend time on here posting relevant contract language, answering

questions, and PM's.... trying to help members out ?

You can blame the Republicans all you want....

Wow.

That was a hard right turn, not related to the subject.

Frequent posters in the current events forum (as evidenced by my posts) would

probably assume I don't "tow" the democratic line. As expected.

I can understand your Local Union problems, and I do sympathize.

But, it's unfair to lump me into some sort of "perceived category".... in

approving of what happens with some elected Union officials.
