It is a Howard Johnson's Icon, and a trademark weathervane. Sorry small picture.
It was the largest restaurant chain in the US throughout the 1960s and 1970s, with over
1,000 company owned and franchised outlets.

We have several Howard Johnson & Howard Johnson Express in CA., hotels only
Anaheim., Vallejo, Claremont, Reseda, Monterey, ...

Only one remaining Howard Johnson restaurant...

Got them from the gas station Dino and there was a redemtion store @ 27th Street in Camden .The only thing I remember was that mom got a really nice mesh lawn chair with wooden arm rests.Probably got on the bus to get it because we only had one car and Dad took that to work.

Poor Camden... It has gone downhill so bad since then...
