New Driver Helper scanners

The driver scans a barcode in the pkg car linking his DIAD to the car for Telematics' monitoring purposes. Your DIAD is not linked to the car and any use while driving is not reported.

I remember this being one of my drivers daily main concern....backing up... He told me all about it regarding the rules and whatnot.

I refused to use one of those last year. I was basically in the "this is my last peak since I'm going feeder next year" mindset.

They yanked all of our DIAD 4 racks out a couple of weeks ago, we were using 4s for our Driver Helpers. We started using the phones for golf cart routes last year, they had a lot of problems. I imagine all our Helpers will be forced to use phones this time. By taking away RDO, I'm predicting another disaster in the making.

They probably are the left over ivis phones they had from feeder.... wouldn’t surprise me one bit....good luck trying to get service with those POS.....

Don't forget the brown "Seasonal helper" vests. Saw someone in training with that on over some jeans and a hoodie and facepalmed hard.

Did you make feeder?

Yes. I accepted the feeder position at the beginning of this year and it was a good decision on my part. It's not for everyone though.
