Ford is no more American than a Honda. In fact with a lot of Hondas being built in the US its probably the other way around

The older Ford 10's that we had were great. Outstanding turning radius, low step, quick, no hand-brake - you had a little yellow air brake knob that worked great.

Only downside - and the reason why I suspect they all got junked - is that when it rained the brakes became useless.

Spotting a dolly looks like a real pain in the ass.

It would be fine it's like backin up a sleeper or used for longer day runs but using it as a cpu is a real real pain

Backing a dolly isn't an issue after a few times doing it. The thing I dislike the most is the turning radius, If you're backing a 53 into some tight spots like some of our CPU pickups it's a little tougher to do.

I do like how quiet they are and they seem well built so far...No rattles.

Disagree----the best package car was the old P-100 Ford 300 ci flat-top Econolines. They hardly had room in them for anything.

That makes sense in the UPS world. They are the best cars our center has. Only thing bad about them is the horn contacts have to be cleaned weekly, but that is an easy fix
