Telegraph | News | Is this the end of the road for traffic lights? :tongue_sm OK, just a little Friday humor but I will admit it gives some thought as people are more "well mannered" for the most part when power is out to a traffic light. Under normals conditions they speed up hoping to beat the light if it starts to change whereas when the light is out they slow down and in some cases dramatically as they aren't sure as to what the other driver will do and visa versa. There are always a couple of jerks, the same one's that are jerks when the light works, but all in all people do tend to take their own actions into account and adjust when the responsibility of their own actions lands on their shoulders with no one else calling the shots. Is there another lesson here?
