Juan Williams presents a new poll showing that 2/3rds of parents desire to send their kids back to school.

Poll: Most would send their children back to school, if social distancing is in place
Virtual instruction. Mandated masks. Physical distancing. The start of school will look very different this year because of the coronavirus — and that’s OK with the vast majority of Americans.
The poll found that 52% of residents would send their children back to school in the fall only if there is social distancing and sanitizing,
while 19% would allow them to attend school with no restrictions.
Sixteen percent in one poll and 31 % in another poll say they will not send their kids to school no matter what.

Even in a letter caving in to Trump’s school reopening demands, the CDC is only willing to say that it might be safe among younger children in areas where the virus is already under control. That's like no more than 5-10 percent of all schoolchildren.

NH Catholic School sees a jump in enrollments, 34 new families want to send their kids to school.
Our friends with means are enrolling their kids in private/Parochial schools.
These schools are limiting new enrollments so they've been busy getting them all lined up.
Guess who are not doing this ... lower-middle class and poor Blacks, Whites and Hispanics.
Although, many of the Hispanics already have their kids in Catholic schools ... especially the grades K-8.

What I'm seeing now is those that want schools closed are talking about risk. They include total numbers in their equation which is a false narrative.

Sorry but you can never remove 100 percent of all risk in life. Stuff happens.

I would like to see the risk numbers in healthy children. Don't include any children with medical problems because they should not be in school now anyway. Then, compare those numbers with other risks of modern living like accidents, etc.

Most likely women!
They tend to be risk-adverse.
That’s why, along with other skills, is why they do well in Corporations.

Everthing has risk. The lifetime risk from dying in a motor vehicle crash is 1 in 114 for example. It seems the risk for normal healthy children in school dying from covid is less than that of traveling to school.
