New service times and no International signatures

Was told business commit times at end of month will be 4:30pm for SO and International packages can released unless they have ISR/ASR/DSR which customer will have to click to add signature service

Because of the delays in the hubs and ramps we are getting our freight so late at my station, we run em straight most of the time. Service is pretty much a non-issue.

“All we have to sell is service.”

So, did we oversell then, or do we have little to sell now???
The company will soon be renamed "FEDLESS".. As a shipper you pay more and get LESS. As an employee you produce more and more but get paid LESS and LESS. Fedless will give you something here but take it back some place else.

The SO commit time is more in line with that of UPS now, whose version of SO has a commit time of end of day.
So UPS management made a business decision that was realistic as well as profitable, unlike FedEx management, which wanted bragging rights for their advertising.

Now all FedEx needs is a way to blame it on the courier.

FedEx's entire vision is based on reactionary "keeping up with the Joneses." Unfortunately, in their case, they don't keep up with anyone; they just promise something they can't deliver, fail, and then blame someone else.
