My job was to figure out how to do less stops per hour. They said I should be doing 20 stops per hour on my route. By the time I retired I was down to 14 per hour and that was with them riding with me or own my own. I was always way over  allowed every day and they left me alone because I had the same results with them riding with me or without. I would tell drivers things to do but almost every one of them would say “but my route“ and the excuses started. Most Drivers can‘t Break the “I got to get home” thinking. My wife knew Mon thru Fri there were no plans. When I went to work I mentally planned on a 12 hr day and anything less was a plus.</p></blockquote><p></p>
