Richard Harrow
Deplorable.
I know you jest, but did she really get rid of the appearance standards for UPS?
For the most part, yes. All you need anymore is to be wearing the uniform to go to work.
When I was hired you weren't permitted to wear a beard. A 5 o'clock shadow was sometimes enough to get you called into the office.
Mustaches couldn't extend below the upper lip.
Sideburns were not permitted below the earlobes. Hair had to be worn in a professional manner, not allowed to extend beneath the collar of the shirt. Women had to wear their hair in a bun. Tattoos were not allowed to be shown. Men were permitted one stud in the ear, no hoops, nothing that dangled. Uniforms were not to be wrinkled. White or brown undershirts only. Brown or black shoes, no sneakers.
All bets are off anymore.
