NTSB: Deadly cargo plane fires cause for concern

I remember the night the plane pictured in the story landed in Philly. Messed everything up at the hub.

The damaged containers (all warped, blackened, and partly melted) were housed in specialized enclosures for investigations to take place.

The plane itself sat on the ramp for the better part of a year, until the investigations were complete and it was sold for scrap. Taking pics of it was an act punishable by firing (squad).
