Obama Is Not A Socialist But.......................

Obama fans may not like the alternative either.

NEW ORLEANS–Republicans and tea party activists are fond of accusing President Barack Obama of being a socialist, but today party gadfly Ron Paul said they had it wrong.
“In the technical sense, in the economic definition, he is not a socialist,” the Texas Republican said to a smattering of applause at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference.
“He’s a corporatist,” Paul quickly added, meaning the president takes “care of corporations and corporations take over and run the country."

An let's not even talk about how easy the names Obama and Cheney meld together contrary to the myth of politicos that such close proximity to one another would cause an explosion equal to the combining of matter and anti-matter in such a confinded space. When it comes to the State ad State power, opposites do attract as in working for the very same thing!

And can the Obamites explain why they are also following the Neo-Con global war plan and opening up war fronts not only in Pakistan but Yemen and now if one looks we see rumblings in Africa following announcements of major oil finds on that continent. So if the claim of "Bush's War is for oil" holds true then, it would seem even now to hold even more weight and we've not even yet considered the continued saber rattling at Iran. Yep, when you measure it all out, Obama is a Neo-Con!

And thus by extension this means...............
:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Oh WOW, Now ObombA is doing the Rumy Thingy. I guess next we'll see him doing Reagan!

Poor Democrats but take heart, just imagine the convulsions the republicans are going through also knowing that if Obama is a socialist but he's doing the exact same thing as the previous republicans, that must mean those republicans also are..........?

CHANGE? CHANGE? CHANGE?

C'mon Wk, it's nuance. Be a little more sophisticated in your dissemination of information lest the subjugation of the infatuation of significant enumeration of the voting nation be somehow emaciated in the process of emancipation of the fettered imagination. Oddly enough, I think that might even make some sense...kinda...maybe.:happy-very:

Obama was a little ticked about that AZ bill.......that's because he's not doing his job, so the state is going to do it for him. A bill forced down his throat....payback's a bitch.

Until the Fed Gov decides to withold things like high-way funding and such proving once again that pay-back truly is, in the words of morluck, "a bitch".

with holding federal funding ?
Why?
This new laws will only make barry fast track his own idea of what new federal policy he can shove down our throats.

Plus, the Messiaah will use this as a political tool to get more of those votes from the Latinos...that is more important than protecting law abiding American citizens.

Right and when you don't take it without trying to pull away, funding gets witheld. I'm starting to think we need a different euphamism than "shove down our throats". Things are getting almost pornographically suggestive.

A careful examination of the policies pursued by the Obama administration and his allies in Congress shows that their agenda is corporatist. For example, the health care bill that recently passed does not establish a Canadian-style government-run single payer health care system. Instead, it relies on mandates forcing every American to purchase private health insurance or pay a fine. It also includes subsidies for low-income Americans and government-run health care “exchanges”. Contrary to the claims of the proponents of the health care bill, large insurance and pharmaceutical companies were enthusiastic supporters of many provisions of this legislation because they knew in the end their bottom lines would be enriched by Obamacare.

Similarly, Obama's “cap-and-trade” legislation provides subsidies and specials privileges to large businesses that engage in “carbon trading.” This is why large corporations, such as General Electric support cap-and-trade.

To call the President a corporatist is not to soft-pedal criticism of his administration. It is merely a more accurate description of the President’s agenda.

Not that republicans are any better!

Right. But I benefit more when the corporations being favored are the health industry than the oil industry or the defense contractors.:happy-very:
