We taught sorters how to use the edge of belts as a fulcrum so they didnt have to lift the entire weight of a package to an overhead belt. A fireman or woman will use equipment in 99 percent of their cases to move a human out of danger and when equipment is not an option they still have other means they have been trained on move bodies where they don't have to sling the body across their shoulders and carry them out.</blockquote>
