On Lincoln

Good piece 804, thanks for posting. The discussion on the darkside of Lincoln is a rather large and broad subject that few are willing to ponder because of their greater implications. But you know me.
:wink2:

Loyola Economics Professor Tom DiLorenzo has written extensively on the darkside of good ole' Abe but this 2003' piece on Lincoln's connections to the extermination policies towards the plains indians is well worth reading. I as well as others have asked DiLorenzo to write a book (he's written many already about Lincoln and Hamilton) about the late 19th century American policy towards the plains indians and many hope that one day soon he will.

BTW: When you read the history of the American indigenous peoples and watch the current state of affairs for example in the Middle East, you know full well you've seen this movie before.
