One of UPS best Dies

This is a driver that drove from Knoxville to Sharonville, Ohio. Sincere sympathies to Don's family from Sharonville. Don always brightened up our day with his smile and positive out look on life during the short time he turned around in Sharonville. We lost a good one. Here is an article from a local TV station.

An investigation is underway after a UPS semi-truck driver dies in an accident in Grant County Friday morning.
Kentucky State Police, Grant County Sheriff’s Deputies, Dry Ridge and the Crittenden Fire Department responded to a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 75 southbound at 8:30 a.m.
Don Lee Shipe, 59, of Blaine, Tenn., was driving a tractor trailer when his vehicle ran off the right shoulder of the roadway just prior to the 165-mile marker.
The vehicle came to final rest approximately 70 feet from the guard rail in an embankment.
Shipe was pronounced dead upon arrival of the Grant County Coroner, Marylee Willoby.
The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Scott Allen.

I am not out of Knoxville. I am a Sharonville feeder driver. Don would come into our terminal on a daily basis and we all had a chance to interact with him for the short time he was in the Buckeye before returning to Knoxville.

From the promised LAND
Thanks Dave.

Really beautiful people come into our lives for a reason and a season. They end up being a blessing to those they touch.
