Talking to you is like talking to my crazy ex-girlfriend, like talking in circles.
I'm plainly explaining to you the manifest superiority of their engineering, operations, product, and business model. They are on another planet completely. Elon Musk is better than Steve Jobs and Bill Gates put together.

But I'm completely consistent to say he's also not a good guy. Do you want me to extol German engineering in WWII also? I'll be happy to do that. It doesn't mean they're good. It means they're good at what they're doing.

Well we apparently agree on something

Tesla can lock in more than anybody, with any premium they want, and is a larger player than any other auto manufacturer.
Will it cut into Tesla's margin? Sure. But who cares? It kills the competition, which ultimately helps Tesla.

And, as I've already shown, Tesla can keep prices high and still 10x the production and sell all of them at the premium price. Even if they lose their margins.
Whatever is hard hurts everybody else way more than it hurts them. Tesla has cash and scale. Nobody else does.
But there's X amount of copper and silver and if you think the government(ours or China's) will allow Tesla to hog it all and let the housing market collapse or big tech players like Apple, Samsung, LG and others go wanting you're delusional. And in terms of production Tesla is still a long way from being the largest car manufacturer.

Crony capitalism?

Tesla is openly discriminated against by the US government, being made ineligible for all kinds of government contracts and buyer credits just because Democrats hate them.
Yes musk is one of the biggest crony capitalists ever in history.

Tesla is a long way away, and it is also the fastest growing, most competent and efficient producer on the planet. Give it a decade.

Relative to the size of the business, all of that is significantly lower than everybody else of equal size. The guy just has an axe to grind. They're not getting any unusual government favoritism. And they're getting a lot of government exclusion.

You just said the CCP would hog it all.
Tesla is the CCP.
Are you illiterate? I didn't say the CCP will hog it all. I said China is the world's manufacturing center and China will buy collectively on their behalf. You think the CCP is going to give it all to one manufacturer when their success is based on manufacturing about everything for the rest of the world? They're going to stop making clothes, shoes, electronics, etc, etc, etc, to make high priced EV's that only so many of the world's population can afford?

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.
15% of cars on the road isn't a big problem 8 years from now. Correct.

And taht's the fastest expansion case for EV's, even according to the current Resident.
California can’t produce enough power now, and it’s not getting better. You’re dreaming if you think the grid is going to handle all those EVs.

If the shortage is so severe even the CCP won't have all it wants, you're talking about an apocalyptic scenario across the board and you should be building a cabin in Montana right now.

California isn't even in the United States. Build the wall. Let them eat their own brownouts. I make no promises about California. It's a failed third world state.
