Just wondering if any of you guys/gals have drivers that have an accommodation to ONLY drive automatic package cars for actual legitimate medical reasons and if so, than what are the reasons?

They quit doing road tests in manuals during peak season around here because they were having problems getting people to pass

The continuing pusification of UPS. The OP sounds like he wants a medical "only can drive automatics" card. I've never heard of such a thing but then again this is the new UPS so it wouldn't surprise me.

It used to be they had trouble keeping part time. Now it sounds like they are doing anything to keep drivers. The place is going to hell.

Our center usually runs with 38-40 routes this time of year. Two years ago it was 50 routes. Our volume has gone up, not down.

We all understand hard work, but adding 45 stops to a route in two years that was a 9.5 hour day under EDD is crazy.
