Origin Scan

Hello, I'm new to this forum and I have seen it to be a great place to get one of my basic question answered accuractely. If I dropped off my package at a UPS drop box, should my tracking update as soon as the driver opens the drop box and picks up the package? Or is there a delay in which the ups driver needs to return to a facility before performing the origin scan? Thanks for your help guys, I'm concerned as my tracking still hasn't updated from "Order Processed: Ready for UPS".

It takes a bit of time for the scan to show up, usually 15-30 minutes.

That said, this is not the place to track a package, you can do that through the ups.com and if you have questions or problems ask there or the UPS facebook page.
