Justice Dept. seeks information from DHL - WNEWSJ
The U.S. Department of Justice has asked DHL Express to provide information related to the company’s proposed deal with United Parcel Service (UPS), a DHL executive said Thursday at an economic development workshop. The local workshop was held to brace the Wilmington area for the whiplash-like unemployment jolt the corporate decision will let loose.
During a media interview that touched on the possibility the deal has antitrust implications, senior DHL official Michael Schmitt said, “DHL is complying with all requests from the Department of Justice.”
