part time air driver

Anybody out there have a full time air driver position? I am currently a part time bid air driver and am wondering what a full time air driver does and how those jobs are bid, or how does ups justify adding a full time air driver position.

FT air is bid as a 22.3 job. It is usally a combo job. Our 22.3's run air and are inside clerks.

You going to need a lot of seniority to get one of those jobs.
