I almost forgot about another great thing about PAS. Say you have a Sig req. one day and the customer isn't home. And say they come and pick it up at the center that night. Well. guess what? That package will still show in EDD the next day and you'll be tearing the truck apart looking for that package. What a time saver, right? I like having the info in my diad, but other than that, there are not any time-gaining benifts. The theory was, save gas and wear and tear by re-looping. The sad fact is, that all comes out in the wash when you have to break for a school or business before they close that is off trace and is in section 8000. Also, 4 out of 5 days I'm driving to the next town delivering misloads. Just my opinion.
