Krugman's piece......shameful

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...imes-subscription-over-krugman-11-shame-blog/

here's the piece....
September 11, 2011, 8:41 am [h=1]The Years of Shame[/h]Is it just me, or are the 9/11 commemorations oddly subdued?
Actually, I don’t think it’s me, and it’s not really that odd.
What happened after 9/11 — and I think even people on the right know this, whether they admit it or not — was deeply shameful. The atrocity should have been a unifying event, but instead it became a wedge issue. Fake heroes like Bernie Kerik, Rudy Giuliani, and, yes, George W. Bush raced to cash in on the horror. And then the attack was used to justify an unrelated war the neocons wanted to fight, for all the wrong reasons.
A lot of other people behaved badly. How many of our professional pundits — people who should have understood very well what was happening — took the easy way out, turning a blind eye to the corruption and lending their support to the hijacking of the atrocity?
The memory of 9/11 has been irrevocably poisoned; it has become an occasion for shame. And in its heart, the nation knows it.
I’m not going to allow comments on this post, for obvious reasons.

Who cares what Disgraced former secretary of defense Rumsfeld thinks, says or feels. He is a part of the disaster of the USA. His failed leadership as Sec of Defense is a shameful reminder of the BUSH administration.

I hope he's happy he's stuck in the USA, for traveling abroad would end in his arrest on international warrants that are outstanding for his arrest.

Rumsfeld isnt one of those "american heroes" that will be remembered in our history. He will forever be hated.

Peace.

Krugman is a sick Liberal who needs mental help and the NYT and Time magazine should get rid of this POS...but when those rags are all Liberal its quite understandable that they would print his hate.

Krugman is absolutely right. The republicans care about 911 about as much as they do middle class americans.. They want to use both for political gain. The republicans were responsible for the worst terrorist attack on this country and that cant be overlooked.

After 911, the first responders were discovered to be sick from things like asbestos causing serious health issues and even many deaths. The republicans refused to provide health care for the first responders and after Obama came into office, help arrived.

Today, the republicans once again are going after the medical care of the first responders. All this talk of "never forget" is crappola when it comes to the republicans. They seem to want to forget to "help" americans who helped on this tragedy they helped to create.

Why people continue to believe the republicans are the party of the people is beyond comprehension.

Peace.

Unlike Townhall.com, how does the story I linked difer from the truth like townhall.com?

It has the facts, and the confirmation from Cantors office, making it true moreluck.

Unlike townhall which has no facts and pure opinion.

Understand the difference now?
