The points are still valid, no?

Pcm's are crap. I know how to do my job, so shutup, let me get on the road to start my day and get done sooner. I'm not doing a lift/lower demonstration, unless you have first provided me with donuts.

"Did you know that lizards communicate with each other by doing push ups? And that the average American eats 35,000 cookies during the span of their lifetime? Ok, Charlie please lead in a stretch demonstration." This is an example of an intro to our PCMS lately. Is everyone getting these as well?
I haven't done push-ups on the old lady in like three weeks.

I Don't participate in the stretching. That's when I chow down on a big ole breakfast sammy!
Same here:

"First of all," Holcomb says, "you should never stretch a cold muscle in any way. And doing static stretches -- meaning the kind where you hold the stretch before a workout or competition -- may decrease your strength, power, and performance."
-Bill Holcomb, PhD, professor of athletic training (aka @Austin.Was.My.Hero 's hero)

Take a minute to imagine your muscles as a rubber band – a cold and brittle rubber band will snap, whereas a rubber band that is warm and flexible will stretch and return to its original shape. You should always warm up before you stretch in order to avoid injury.

Even today all of my fitness classes start out with some basic stretches. Research has proven that this is not only unnecessary but actually harmful.

I make a point to stir up some subtle trouble at pcm by doing a different stretch than the stretch of the day.

It makes me feel so rebellious.
