The new agreement provides increases to wages and health and welfare, and provides more secure pensions as well as many other improvements. It has been endorsed by both the Teamsters National and Supplemental Negotiating Committees. I encourage each of you to vote and to vote “Yes.” Make sure you get your ballots. The deadline for requesting replacement ballots is next Friday, November 9. Ballots must be received at the Lanham, MD, post office by 10 a.m. Friday, November 16.
