Ballots Received PCM (November 1, 2007)


Last week, we communicated that ballots were being sent to your homes so each of you could exercise your right to vote on the new UPS/Teamsters contract.


Date to be given: November 1, 2007 Audience: All Teamsters-represented Employees Visual: None Introduction
If you haven't received your ballots, please let your union steward, [INSERT NAME], know immediately so that you can get a replacement ballot.

  • Become familiar with the details of the agreement so you can make an informed decision.
  • The new agreement provides increases to wages and health and welfare, and provides more secure pensions as well as many other improvements. It has been endorsed by both the Teamsters National and Supplemental Negotiating Committees.

  • Make sure you get your ballots. The deadline for requesting replacement ballots is next Friday, November 9.
  • Ballots must be received at the Lanham, MD, post office by 10 a.m. Friday, November 16.

Kind of makes you all warm and fuzzy feeling dosnt it…..? NOT

Reminds me of a bad Fillini movie (redundant might that be).

If this dosnt send up the big red flag, I don’t know what does.
