If they decided to buy out our pensions, in addition to you getting a reduced amount it gets much worse. Since there would be no Early Retirement at 55, the retiree's Health Benefits would probably disappear too!!! Especially if they buy you out and you leave before 55, you would forfeit them.

I would hope they would grandfather some of us, especially if you have 30 years in. It would be dispicable to do this to people in their mid forties and up.

Is that why Obama used HOPE ???? He's old school and has no people skills. Sounds reasonable!
