    If your entitled to a pension but are fired from the company do you still collect what you earned?

    If vested, yes.

    Here, if vested yes. You need 25 years to retain your PEER 80 or 82 (p/t), but you can work at any Teamster represented employer that contributes to our Pension plan to get to 25 years. If you're fired you don't get the medical.

    How long til you're vested? Isn't it 10 years?

    I know it's 5 years for PT employees. 5 years of at least 750 hours to become fully vested.

    That's y last 5 years or so can be totally stress free. If your fired oh well. Other than medical of course.
