Amen brother! Its one thing to deliver it, but having to go back and pick it up with a call tag is really painfull! I just had one on Tuesday. It was a split and I didn't deliver it, but the tag said 56lbs so I thought I get it while on trace in the middle of the route. Well, the thing was like 3 feet tall and 6 feet long. It would have been in my way all day long so I knidly explained that I would be back later for it. He actually gave me an attitude and said he was home now and it might rain later. Now, I'm always nice to EVERYONE, but if you open the door I'm going to speak my mind. I calmly explained that I had 70 dellivery stops and 35 pick-up stops left and if I grab your stupid kids bed now I will have to push, move, and walk around the ugly thing 105 times! It was so big that the only place for it was on the back-drop. I could have done my house calls like that but never my pick-ups! What the hell are we doing delivery this crap? Its like they think we work for a moving company and have a crew of 3 guys when in reality its just me lugging 150lbs of ugly furniture up a driveway. Sorry, but thats how I feel about pottery barn. I pray every night that they go out of business, lol!
