The act also allows the President to use the military to enforce laws when local governments can't or won't. You know, like when insurgents declare their own countries in the middle of major metropolitan areas with the aid and approval of "elected" officials who swore oaths to prevent that sort of thing from happening. Or when "elected" officials refuse to do meaningful audits and signature verifications in a contested election. You know, the kinds of things people looking to subvert the will of the people would be likely to do.</p></blockquote><p></p>
