Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 4995133" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>They lived there because the U.S. Government paid them well for contract jobs and it was assumed the U.S. Government would see to their safe evacuation when the time came.  These aren't people who foolishly put themselves in harm's way because they thought living in Kabul would be cool.  We also left tens of thousands of Afghanis who worked with the U.S. Government and were assured our government would safely evacuate them and their families when the time came.  How many such people are going to trust our government enough to risk their safety and the safety of their families in future wars we undertake after seeing what our government did to the Afghanis?</p></blockquote><p></p>
