Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 5479510" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>Oil companies didn't force Biden to offer half a trillion in student loan relief.  Didn't force him to allow people to stay home instead of work with unemployment payments.  Didn't force Congress to pass a $1.7 trillion budget laden with pork in spite of the country already being at record debt levels.  Oil companies are going to grab what they can because if a recession hits they may be looking at much lower oil prices and losing money.  It's cyclical but that doesn't stop the tax and spend folks from blaming them.  By the way the oil companies get so much per barrel but the price you pay at the pump reflects what gas station companies charge after paying refiners and everything else(which has risen for them too).</p></blockquote><p></p>
