China just announced on January 1st they are removing or reducing tariffs on 850 products. By the way, African Swine Fever has caused the death of half of China's pig herd. 85% of all meat the Chinese eat is pork. They've been driving up pork prices everywhere in the world except here due to the trade war. A Chinese official the other day said they are going to buy a million metric tons of pork from us in 2020. The U.S. annual pork production is 2.2 million tons and about a fourth of that is normally exported. Pork should get substantially more expensive. In 2013 the Ped-V virus killed 10% of the U.S. herd, mostly piglets, and prices exploded. Now the Chinese are looking to buy almost half of our production. I'm giving you a heads up here. Are you going to use that, or scoff and sneer because some "mouth breather" can't possibly tell you anything worthwhile? There are 40,000 lbs of pork in a contract. I currently have two, looking to add a third soon. Hope to eventually have 20. That's $8000 a cent. I don't have your resources but even starting small has the potential to do very well in this market. And Trump's trade war? It slowed things up to allow me to get some money together to get into this. Otherwise pork would already be expensive and the opportunity would have passed. Thank you Mr. President!
