interesting how you defend it. I too have been in health insurance my entire life. At this point I pay 300 bucks a month for me and the wife. I suppose UPS is also paying the one and only insurance provider at least that much for my plan? Most if not all of my yearly medical expenses are paid by me through my deductible . Thus everything paid to the insurance company by me is profit for them. But if my 50 some year old ass should get pregnant I am covered thanks to the ACA . if I should develop a drug addiction I will I suppose be covered. Not options I have any interest in pursuing. in the old days ups had multiple insurance provider options per state. now I have one. In the old days you could have your ups plan and your wife could also have her work related insurance plan and be covered under your plan. that is gone. Having that primary and secondary insurance plan when we had kids was a huge help when we were counting every dollar. Cant imagine paying 80 percent of those bills now under those conditions My doctor likes to see everyone in the family every three months. I'll spread it out to six months now and save a few bucks of deductable. That counters the philosophy of past insurance plans that forced peventitive visits and tests on us. I for the life of me cant understand how you could ever try to sugarcoat what the ACA has done to destroy our insurance plans. I can't understand how you can not see that insurance companies are using the ACA to increase their profitability.
