There's a couple of little historical footnotes you're overlooking here. At the time when the Constitution was being written women didn't have the right to vote and the writers "owned" other human beings. They were called slaves, a practice that was alive and well . Not to mention the fact that it took a war that killed a conservatively estimated 600,000 people to finally convince the South  of the need to end the practice.Rest assured of one fact ,the nation will continue to change and evolve. It's been doing that for 230+ years and you'll just have to change and adapt right along with everyone else.</blockquote>
