Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 3737250" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>What you're not seeing is it will never work because the guys who get the power are, and always will be, corrupt.  There's no workers paradise and never will be because of human nature.  No matter how pure you see your cause there will be others who just see an opportunity to gain power and control over others.  As corrupt as you see the U.S. there is a system of laws in place that minimizes the corruption and protects the people from autocrats.  And of course people will scoff at that but it's about as good a system as has ever been devised to allow the common man a measure of control over his life.</p></blockquote><p></p>
